The Grill Mask – Case of 4 includes four rolls of Retrotec’s self-adhesive grill mask, ideal for covering holes and duct registers during air leakage testing in enclosures, houses, or ductwork. Each roll is available in three sizes—8″ (20.3 cm) x 160′ (48.8 m), 12″ (30.5 cm) x 160′ (48.8 m), and 18″ (45.7 cm) x 160′ (48.8 m).
The perforated roll design makes it easy to tear off the right amount of grill mask when needed. Whether you’re using Retrotec’s testing equipment or another manufacturer’s, this Grill Mask will help simplify your air leakage testing.
Grill Masks are essential for any air leakage tester working with residential ductwork, or anyone testing enclosures involving ducts. They can also be used to test duct sealants and assess overall duct performance.
Apply with extreme care. Grill mask tapes are for temporary use and are intended to be removed within hours of application. Do not apply aggressively. Do not use grill mask tape on uncured surfaces.
It is advised to leave a “tail” loose on at least one or all sides in order for a gripper removal.
