Available in three sizes—8″ (20.3 cm), 12″ (30.5 cm), and 18″ (45.7 cm)—Retrotec’s Grill Mask is the perfect solution for covering holes and duct registers during air leakage testing in enclosures, houses, or ductwork. The self-adhesive mask comes in an easy-to-use perforated roll, making it ideal for field use.
Whether you’re using Retrotec equipment or testing with another manufacturer’s tools, the Grill Mask simplifies your testing process. It’s an invaluable tool for air leakage testers in the residential industry, especially when working with ductwork or testing enclosure efficiency. The Grill Mask is also effective for evaluating duct sealants and calculating overall duct performance.
For added convenience, Grill Mask Dispensers are available, allowing you to hang the dispenser and easily pull off sheets as needed for streamlined testing.
Apply with extreme care. Grill mask tapes are for temporary use and are intended to be removed within hours of application. Do not apply aggressively. Do not use grill mask tape on uncured surfaces.
It is advised to leave a “tail” loose on at least one or all sides in order for a gripper removal.
